No, you do not have to be disabled veteran to become a member of the Spirit Warriors Hockey Program.
What documentation do I need to provide?
All we need is a copy of your VA ID card with your rating or a copy of your DD214 and a valid USA Hockey Number.
What is the difference between USA Hockey Sanctioned and non-sanctioned games?
USA Hockey Sanctioned games require a Disability rating or 10% or greater or a Purple Heart.
Non-sanctioned games do not require a Disability rating.
Does the program pay for any equipment?
No, the Spirit Warriors does not purchase any equipment for new members. We do offer gently used equipment to those that do not have anything to start.
